SAMBUTAN HARI KEBANGSAAN PERINGKAT KUPTM KL 2018

ISNIN 3 SEPT 2018- Tanggal 31 Ogos 2018, Malaysia meraikan hari kebangsaan yang ke 61 dengan tema tahun ini Sayangi Malaysia. KUPTM tidak ketinggalan untuk menyambut Hari Kebangsaan dengan menganjurkan Malam Ambang Kemerdekaan pada 30 Ogos malam bertempat di Dataran KUPTM. Pelbagai aktiviti telah dijalankan antaranya persembahan dari para pelajar, cabutan bertuah serta acara acara lain. Kemuncak bagi program ini adalah pertunjukan bunga api yang dilancarkan di dataran KUPTM tepat jam 12.00 tengah malam.

Lawatan kerja Kyung Hee University, Korea Selatan

Connecting Research and Innovation for Academia University of Canterbury

 

ISNIN 3 SEPTEMBER 2018 - Prof. Ian Wright, Deputy Vice Chancellor Research and Innovation University of Canterbury New Zealand telah mengadakan sesi taklimat perkongsian berkenaan "Connecting Research and Innovation for Academia" dalam rangka kerja memperkenalkan Canterbury University dan jenis penyelidikan dan inovasi yang dijalankan kepada para pensyarah KUPTM serta peluang kerjasama. Pertemuan ini telah berlangsung pada 9 Ogos 2018 yang lalu

THE UNSUNG HEROES

Monday 3 Sept 2018- The students of Diploma in Corporate Communication (BK101), semester 3, Kolej Universiti Poly-Tech MARA (KUPTM), Kuala Lumpur have organised “Photo Exhibition; Lens of Life 2K18: The Unsung Heroes” on 1st and 2nd August 2018. The event took place at LT2.1, KUPTM Kuala Lumpur. The chosen theme of this photo exhibition is called “The Unsung Heroes”. The theme refers to the people who did great deeds but received little or no recognition at all. Some examples of these heroes are police officers, teachers, humanitarians, volunteers and construction workers. There were total of 100 pictures exhibited on both days. 

On the first day, the exhibition started when guests arrived at 9:30 am as the VIPs arrived later at 10:00 am to officially mark the beginning. The emcee, Miss Nurul Husna, welcomed all the guests and followed with prayer recitation by Mr. Hashraff Houzey. Next, the ceremony was continued with a welcoming speech from the Project Director, Miss Nureena Herwan. Then, the Dean of School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Dr. Norehan Hussein, gave her opening speech and followed by the opening ceremony of the photo exhibition when she pressed the shutter button on a DSLR camera to play the “Unsung Heroes” video. The rest of the day was carried on with gallery visitation. There were variety of visitors and lecturers from different schools who attended the exhibition. The gallery was reopened at 10:00 am on the second day and officially closed at 5:00 pm.
